Kenny was a rifleman in Company A, 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry (Airborne) won three Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star and Army Commendation Medal in Vietnam. Since 1993, he has been serving life without parole for a non-violent marijuana offense.

    I know Kenny personally. 3 purple hearts and a bronze star…? and imprisoned for life for pot…? of all the men I’ve met while myself serving time, I’ve never met a more gentle and good person than Ken. I wish our government (namely, our president) would pardon this veteran, who served with more devotion to family, country and humankind than I’ve ever had the honor to witness. Amen.
