CHARLESTON, W.VA. — A man convicted of setting up part of a $1 million Jamaican drug operation in West Virginia was sentenced this week to 34 years in prison. Rohan Walters, 21, of Kingston, Jamaica, was arrested in Huntington in July and convicted in December of selling marijuana and recruiting people to receive marijuana in the mail. Walters is one of 51 people arrested as a result of a 20-month state and federal investigation of drugs in southern West Virginia, officials said. Those arrested were charged with shipping more than 220 pounds of marijuana into the area from Los Angeles, Houston and other cities.
