Hi Adela,

This is Bryan Schweder .I wrote you when I was In Florence USP. I owned a dispensary and hospice  in Sherman oaks.we also grew for my dispensary in Trinity Co where I live. I've done 6 plus years on a 13 year 6 month sentence. I have been appealing on the 542 issue. I'm asking for an evidentary hearing as I was in full compliance with CA state law .I have been granted oral argument Dec. 4 in San Francisco 9th circuit. Any court support in the community would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for doing what you do.If I win this ,this should help a lot of people in my shoes.

2nd Day of Cancer Treatment

Officer Flores tried to take away my prosthetic shoes that hold my feet together. When I told him my need for them to protect my feet from bone loss he insisted I had to give them up and wear non protective shoes to be transported to my cancer radiation treatment. When I refused he labeled this refusal of medical treatment and told me I could not tell him what to do, which I never tried to do. So I did not get my 2nd day of radiation treatment. This is my third time this same officer has caused me trouble without cause. He then tried to have me sign a medical treatment refusal which I refused to sign. 10/04/2917.

3rd day cancer radiation treatment

The Health Services was closed Wednesday for SHU [Special Housing Unit] prisoners. I was told by a Lt. that Officer Flores was told by someone at BOP Health Services that I did not need my prosthetic shoes ordered by BOP Health Services for transport to receive cancer radiation treatment. So first thing this morning I went to BOP Health Services and asked to speak to the Staff responsible for telling Officer Flores that misinformation. I was told that no one told him that and they had no call from Officer Flores and my medical status clearly authorize my need to use my prosthetic boots to and from my cancer radiation treatments. Then I was taken for my cancer radiation treatment and hopefully this issue is resolved.

Thank all of you for your instant response. I still fell good and drinking plenty of water.

A Texas Man Just Got 24 Years in Prison For Selling Weed

David Lopez was convicted on drug conspiracy and possession charges, with federal prosecutors claiming he had been shipping cannabis from El Paso to U.S. cities from 2001 through August 2015. He was tied to busts in Texas, New Mexico and Kansas, where police seized more than 3,300 kilos of cannabis. Lopez, who owned numerous trucking companies, was caught after attempting to hire a DEA informant and an undercover officer to transport cannabis for him.
